Winter things

I like the things that winter brings...

I must admit winter is by far not my favorite season, but there are things I enjoy about it. If it's gonna be cold, I'd rather have it be cold with snow. We've been enjoying the snow outdoors...

...and the warm indoors. I'm trapped!:)

Ibel "reading" Ana her Bible. She does a really good job and can tell you all of the stories. See how excited Ana is about it.

little minds

Isabel has so been wanting to play in the snow, but she was sick with a virus and so thus had to stay indoors. She is back to her normal self now so here is our conversation driving home from church.

Me: Maybe after nap time we can go play in the snow.

Isabel: I'll take my nap in the car (she promptly closes her eyes).

It's only about 10 am and her nap isn't usually until 1 pm. Sometimes she is too stinkin smart.

Here's another conversation in the car on the way home:

Me: What was your story about today?

Isabel: (no answer)

Me: Who was in your class today?

Isabel: Adam and Eve

Hopefully they were clothed.:)

Random things...

I feel like since we got back from Mexico I've just not been able to catch-up...with anything. Life has been busy and has been flying by. Here are some random Nordine things:

Could she get any cuter? Ana grew up so much in the week we were gone. She is rolling EVERYWHERE, which has me on my toes more keeping track of where she is. The days of playing in one spot are gone.
Isabel is very much in the "I can do it" stage. She can do everything by herself and don't you dare try to help her. Not sure if I like this stage yet or not. She found Daddy's goggles. Surprisingly she got them on by herself and they stayed on.

I watched a friends little girl the other day, Lily. Isabel and her played so well together. It made Isabel seem so old, even though Lily just turned 2 also. It made me excited for the day when Ana is able to play with her like that.
