Spring? Or should I say summer?

83 degrees in March.  The girls are already asking if we can get the swimming pool out and I've been half tempted.

our little pill bug

Yep, she 6 months old!  Crazy!  She is what we refer to as our little pill bug.  She is the happiest of babies.  I don't know how she can be so happy all the time with what little sleep she gets sometimes.   She thinks vegetables are over rated and is done with baby toys and wants to move on to bigger and better things.  She is bright eyed and SO lovable!  Her favorite things to say are "mamamama" and "babababa."  My petite little girl is only 14 lbs, and as you can see in the video her legs NEVER stop moving, even when she's not jumping.   The girls adore her and can't wait to see her every morning.  They are great helpers at feeding her puffs and playing with her on occasion.  Where did the last 6 months go?  So thankful for our little pill bug!

Isabel's future (according to her 3-11-12, age 4)

She will have 10 children.  Her husband (who's name we do not know) will take care of them.

She will work at the Creation Museum and help with arranging books and toys in the bookstore.  She will also help other ladies.

Her children's names will be:

Isabel, Ana, Klara, Jacob, Kate, Sadie, Haley, Noelle, Lydia, and Lee

But then she will have two more children because Jacob & Lee need brothers, of course.  So she will have Joshua & Zachary.

They will also have a pet toucan named Azelia.

A taste of winter

And a taste was all that is was.  There was snow for a few hours and we took full advantage.  I told the girls to get their snowpants on, we were headed out!  We had so much fun!  It was the highlight of my day!

We built a snowman, which of course only little girls would name Ariel.
We made snow angels
We ate snow
Ana declared snow to be delicious!  I agree.
And I tried to teach the girls how to have a snowball fight.  At first I didn't think they got the concept.  Isabel was pretty much ignoring me (or so I thought) and was building something (looked like a tower to me) out of snow on the ledge.  I was trying to pretend to chase Ana around and get her with snow.  She just kept running into the garage.  All of a sudden Isabel says, "Mom, I'm going to get  you with my giant snowball."  Oh we had fun!
Not sure why Ibel is making that face, but it was the only picture I got of all 3 of us, so here it is:)
And now it's 60s degrees and I think spring is in the air...

The week that was...

Once upon a time there was a family, with 2 parents, 3 little girls, and a dog.  It was a family that loved each other very much, but there was much sickness in their home.  The daddy was sick, the mommy was sick, and two of the little girls were sick.

The littlest girl decided each evening in the middle of the night she would hold a party in her room, staying awake all night long, which made her mom and dad very tired.

One day, very early in the morning one of the little girls woke up screaming.  She had a bad earache.  Her dad and mom took her to the Dr.  When the little girl arrived at the Dr. she threw up all over.  There was a kind nurse though who got the mom a blue paper gown, wipes, and a plastic bag to help clean up the little girl.  The little girl thought people might think she looked funny in the paper gown.  However, she got medicine from the Dr. and felt much better.

The next day, the same little girl was at a friends house, and had a 5 pound rock fall on her foot.  Her foot got very colorful, very fast.  The little girl was sad.  She got to have a x-ray taken of her foot which showed no broken bones.  The dad and mom were happy.

The next day...every one was feeling MUCH better after a good nights rest.  The littlest girl decided to sleep ALL night long, which made her dad and mom feel much more rested.

That day however there were bad storms where the family lived.  It made everyone very scared.  Thankfully the family was safe, but many in the area lost everything.  The family was thankful for God's protection and prayed for many!

The family was very thankful for the family and friends who encouraged them and showed them love in many ways all week long.

And thus, was the week that was.
