Lee had camera...

So it's been awhile since I have posted anything...sorry. It was partly due to the fact the Lee had the camera and I didn't really have anything exciting to share. I have the camera back now though and can share some photos I took recently of our nursery. Several of you have asked to see pictures so here you go.

The nursery keeps "evolving" as we get new stuff, move stuff around, etc. I was fortunate to have my mom around for a week while my dad was in Cambodia and she helped me get a lot of cloths put away. Thanks mom. I am almost 38 weeks now and see the Dr. tomorrow. "Baby" Nordine is just making sure she is good and ready before coming. I partly don't mind though. I feel like I'm constantly having to clean my house, or it's never quite ready enough for her to come:) Ha, ha...will it ever be?

Birthing Class

Well, Lee and I survived our Birthing Class this last Saturday. More importantly, he survived. It was a full day, but we learned a lot! A guy did pass out in our class, and it wasn't Lee! Praise the Lord. Thankfully, another husband worked in the Emergency room at the hospital so was a quick help for the guy.

30 days from Wednesday! WOW! Time is flying by...yet extremely slow at the same time. I am currently "nesting" and I mean "NESTING." I must get things in order before this baby comes. I guess if I don't then oh well! We'll just be excited about meeting our baby girl!

So much going on...

Over the last week we have had so much going on. I had a work baby shower thrown by my good friend Cydney, located at my bosses house. I had such a great time. Lee and I feel so blessed/overwhelmed by the gifts we received and encouragement.

Then we got to take a trip to one of our favorite locations, Ludington, MI. Lee's family had a cousins reunion (well, it included some aunts and uncles too), and I got to see my parents and friend Audrey (Lee's cousin) and her family. Her kids are so cute (see below). Lee and I practiced our parenting by watching them occasionally.:)

I also had another church shower in Ludington. WOW! Many of the ladies made beautiful handmade blankets/outfits. What a blessing. Audrey also gave a very nice devotional, about many people can give us parenting advice, but sometimes we just need to give it all to God. I thankfully had a little helper too, Lee's cousins daughter, Juliana. She helped me open gifts:) See below.
Lee and I were very sad when we had to leave Ludington. We love it there so much and it was great seeing our family. Here's one of my favorite pictures of Audrey's daughter Abby. She was just sitting all by her self reading a book...and she's not even 2! What a cutie!

25 and counting

So yesterday I turned a quarter of a century...the big 25! It was a fun filled day having time with Lee, relaxation, friends and fireworks. In the evening our friends, Jesse and Cydney, came over and we grilled out and then boys blew things up with the fireworks they purchased. Cydney and I enjoyed the pretty ones. Their new baby, Jacob, was a delight to have over also, and Tucker always loves to have their dog Jackson come and play too. Unfortunately, neither of the dogs liked the blowing things up part very much, and so hid in the house. We tried to comfort the big babies:)
