8 and 18

8 weeks pregnant? Is that all? Surely I must be at least 12 or more, at least that's how my belly looks. I decided this pregnancy I'm going to try to enjoy every moment. Not that I didn't with the others, but I probably complained a lot more. I'm hoping to enjoy the being pregnant process and all that it entails...we'll see how long this lasts when the getting up in the middle of the night to pee, not sleeping, and discomfort kicks in.

Ana is now 18 months old. As the Dr. said "you're 1 and a half." Although I can't believe she's that old, it kind of seems like she's been around forever. Which I guess for her, it is her forever. We're thankful she's healthy, growing, and becoming a little girl, not a baby anymore. She's pretty much always happy, but has shown signs of occasional fits here and there. She continues to amaze me and others with her verbal skills. Today she said, "blankie, where are you?" Isn't that a sentence? She stills loves to cuddle and we like to take advantage. One day she fell asleep while I was painting her nails and Lee scooped her up and cuddled her until she woke up. Here's her and Lee cuddling.

Changes and looking forward...

This already seems like it is going to be a random post to me, so sorry for randomness in advance. The past few weeks have been full of changes and full of blessings.

I went from actively pursuing becoming a Jazzercise Instructor to finding out I was pregnant and it probably wasn't the best time to pursue that, so for now that process is on hold.

I went from one job to another. This last week I resigned my position at AiG (Answers in Genesis), where I had worked for 6 and half years to pursue a new ministry opportunity with Reasons for Hope. Hopefully I'll get to tell more about it in the next few weeks. I'm so thankful for my time at AiG and how God used me there. I met some of my closest friends there and would not be who I am without that experience. I'm looking forward to the future though and what God has in store.

Oh yea, as I mentioned, I'm pregnant. That's a big change. I'm feeling pretty good. I am thankful so thankful that with none of my pregnancies I have ever gotten so incredibly sick, like other friends I know...at least yet. I do feel nauseous quite a bit, but I can handle that, for the most part. With the girls I was mostly just nauseous in the morning, but with this baby I seem to be all throughout the day. Just an observation. So what do I do...eat, eat, eat...all day long, and that seems to ease some of the nausea. So if you have any helpful/healthy snack suggestions let me know, lest I gain 50 lbs with this pregnancy.

So all of these things happened in a matter of about 3 weeks and now I'm ready for some steadiness...we'll see what God brings. I am SO thankful, SO SO thankful for amazing friends and family who have been so encouraging! For that I feel blessed beyond all measure!

On a side note, last weekend we got to go celebrate my dear friend's, Cydney, birthday by going to a Brian Regan concert. Oh my...it was hilarious!!! I'm one of those people that could listen to a comedian and not laugh at all, but him...he cracks me up! It was seriously SO much fun, other than the fact a random ice storm decided to hit our area right when we were headed to the concert and spent 2 hours in the car to get there (normally takes 20 min.) and an hour on the way back. We also had a girl's night out, which there IS a reason why grown women should not do this often...we stayed up until 2 am and I was SO tired the rest of the weekend! I know, 2 am sounds lame to some, but I don't think I've stayed up that late in years, seriously! My friend Mandy does it like every weekend and I seriously don't know how! Oh wait, yes I do know, she doesn't have kids yet:) I love ya girl! Here's a picture of all of us at the concert (I stole it from your blog Cydney):)

New Investment

We'll be investing in one of these sooner than later, well at least before September...cause after all, our Scion can't hold 3 car seats!:)

Or you know, if anyone wants to donate one to us, we're always open to that too:)
