Solid Rock

So much has happened in the last week. Life has been a whirlwind and it's not slowing down anytime soon. Our little Ana girl has gone through it, that's for sure. It started when this last week I noticed after her being a bit fussy, she wouldn't put any weight on her left leg and if she tried to she would cry out in pain. There were no visible markings on her that she injured it. We never saw her injure herself. We took her to the Dr. They did x-rays and blood work and everything came back normal. We were told to give her Motrin and wait a few days. So we did. A few days later she started to run a fever. We took her back to the Dr. They sent us to the ER for more tests, etc. It was a long traumatic experience. I could go in to details, but I won't. She was exhausted, we were exhausted, enough said. Her fever finally broke. We thought her leg seemed to be improving. We even went to church, were part of the baby dedication ceremony, and went out to lunch with friends. Now tonight though Lee went to pick her up and she cried out in pain and she pulled her leg up just like she did before. She doesn't want to put weight on it again. It's so strange. Lord help us! Pray for her if you think of it. Pray for wisdom for us. It's hard when no tests seem to give us any answers. I like the song we sang in church today, "On Christ the Solid Rock I stand. All other ground is sinking sand." We are really just trying to trust in our solid rock, Jesus Christ.

I'll be taking a blogging "break" for a few weeks. Hope to keep in touch with some of my other blogging friends though. Love you guys!
