Special Visitors - Lolo and Lola

After our trip to Seattle we had the privilege of Lee's parents flying back with us for a visit. We took the red eye back so our first day back we mostly caught up on sleep, but did find time to get the very long grass mowed, thanks to Lolo's help.
Some other activities included a trip to the conservatory and butterfly exhibit, coloring eggs, a trip to the library, baby #3 ultrasound, hanging out at home, walks, weeding and mulching our flower beds, and a few trips to get donuts.Making playdough butterflies after our visit to the butterfly exhibit.
We did our egg coloring process a little bit different this year. We read in a magazine about when the eggs are hot, take crayon or crayon shavings and put them on the eggs and it melts on the eggs to make cool designs. After they had cooled (turned out to be the next day for us) we dyed them. It was fun and made the process last longer. This might not sound like a very big deal to some people, but Lolo and Lola helped us weed and mulch all of our flower beds, something I'm pretty sure didn't get done last year. It was I think, the only non rainy day they were here. We had 5 bags of weeds. It was a huge job and without their help probably would have taken us weeks to get done over time. It looks so nice! Thank you Lolo and Lola! We had to take out one shrub that had died...here iBel and Lee are planting a new one. And of course there was the ultrasound, which revealed...baby GIRL Nordine. We are thrilled to be having another little girl and are very thankful the ultrasound showed the baby looks healthy. She's now being called by our girls "Jelly Belly" as Isabel couldn't get over the fact that they put jelly on my belly for the ultrasound.

WOW! It certainly looks like you had a time of many activities and making alot of great family memories. I'm sure they were so happy to be able to love on their grand daughters, Isabel and Ana, too! I'm also sure that had to be the best part...or at least one of the best parts! ;)
Thanks so much for sharing the pictures. They are so fun to look at! I have missed seeing them and hope to be able to see them while they're home this time.
Great job with your blog. I always love keeping up with all your family activities, etc. :)

Congrats on another healthy baby girl. You brought back so many memories looking at your Seattle trip, too. I grew up about 30 minutes outside Seattle, but haven't been back in about 10 years. So glad you had an amazing family trip!
