What the 4th is like in Iowa

In the little town of Diagonal, where Lee's families farm is they don't have a parade or anything, so we went to a town near by for the Fourth of July parade. It's a small town too, but it's fun walking around. They were raffling off the most amazing playhouse I have ever seen in my life. If we had some way to hall it back to KY I might have registered for it. It was two stories, had a full kitchen, carpet, a microwave, all these small details in the wood design. It was awesome. Here's our 4th celebration:

Lee's family, minus his brother
Isabel loved waving at everything that passed by
They had like 40+ trackers in the parade carrying different state flags. This was one of the oldest
Sporting our patriotic attire
The corn was definitely knee high by the Fourth of July...at least higher than Isabel's knees
