Sometimes this naughty, active, mischievous, two-year-old melts my heart. Conversation with Isabel before bed:Me: I love you Isabel. I love you so much.
Isabel: So much
Me: Yep, I love you.
Isabel: Thanks mommy. Thanks mommy.
Me: You're welcome Isabel.
Isabel: Thanks mommy.
It makes all the crying, fits, etc. during the day seem to melt away.

Makes it all worth it, doesn't it?
love those moments!
That's sweet, Candace. And I totally know what you mean. Libby woke up the other day and said, "Mommy, I love you. When I grow up, I want to be just like my mommy." I try to recall that moment when she is pulling Eli's ears or coming out of her room fifteen times after we put her to bed each night. The good times in parenting are so, so good, aren't they?
